Photography Workshop – Lighting
Photography Workshop / London
What an amazing day it was yesterday. I was doing the thing I love – teaching.
Few weeks ago my student contacted me to do a Photography Workshop
for her. Ola Molik is very good newborn and family photographer from
Glasgow (her amazing work can be found HERE). She wanted to learn a bit more about advanced lighting
on location, and start creating women’s portraits.
We schduled a day for her to fly down to London.
The place for the Photography Workshop was amazing Greenwich.
Here are so many areas where you can do your photoshoots.
For example a Cutty Sark ship “parked” in middle of the marina square,
old churches, Naval College and gorgeous Greenwich Park.
The weather as it happens in London was quite cloudly and a bit cold.
Thumbs up for our amzing model Charlotte Luck (her website HERE).
She acted very professional in such not warm conditions and looked
Photography Workshop / Advanced Lighting
So what do you do if weather conditions are not at its best and you want to create image full of light?
Answer is simple, use few additional flashes or strobes if you have at hand.
To create this image, shot by Ola Molik we used 3 lights. What do you think about it?
It was very good and productive day.
I was doing what I enjoy, I met old friend and made new ones.
I hope to do such Photography Workshops much more.
